Hi!

I’m Harold Fernandes, your friendly neighborhood guide to the world of Meditation, Mindfulness, Awareness, Conscious Living, and Personal Development.

I have been practicing Awareness, Meditation, and Mindfulness for the last 23 years. I practiced for several years in the traditions of Zen and Vipassana, while reading up the works of the great mystic masters in spirituality. Finally, I reached a dead end with traditional techniques and decided to find my way using my intuition and the depth of the experience that I had already accumulated.

My efforts bore fruit in 2006, when experienced a major transformation as a result of all the meditation, contemplation, and reading that I was doing at the time. This experience left me in a state of deep bliss for a long time, and the bliss / joy state is still alive and keeps popping up from time to time.

I knew then, that I would need to dedicate my life to conscious living. However, I also knew that I needed to learn about how the world worked, if I was to start instructing others in this way. I continued working in the world so as to gain experience, round out my learning, and support my family.

Today, my mission in life is to maintain that state of bliss and joy, and help you get to a state of continuous joy and bliss – a life worth living.

I believe that:

  • Deep bliss and joy is available to you right here and now
  • You can be free of misery, and unhappiness
  • The way to happiness is by unlearning, not just by learning
  • Enlightenment exists, but not the way you imagine it.
  • The journey to enlightenment is extremely simple, which makes it very difficult for us, since we’re used to complications
  • There is no need for an external guru, or even any form of guru worship. Guru worship can be dangerous
  • Follow your intuition: you have everything you need within you to fulfill your heart’s deepest desires
  • You may not be aware that your heart’s deepest desire is NOT for things, people, or experiences. It goes way beyond that
  • While you need external things, circumstances, and people to live, you cannot find deep bliss outside, only inside of you
  • You already know what you need to be truly happy. You’re just blinded by all that you have learnt. Forget – to remember!
  • The true nature of reality is of unfathomable depth. Your ideas of reality, shaped as they are by the external world, are incomplete
  • Your understanding of time may need an upgrade
